Luckily, since I travel to clients homes for my sessions I have the ability to book and serve Oakland newborns and babies from all over the Bay Area. I love that I can just pack up my “traveling studio” and jump over the bridge. It’s amazing to host an Oakland newborn session when I am actually based in San Francisco. Emily originally picked out a lifestyle package for her newborn portraits. Last minute mama decided she would really love those cuddly and squishy posed newborn portraits leading us to upgraded her package. I’m so glad we did so that we could capture cute little Cal up close!
My favorite part of doing traditional studio style newborn portraits in clients homes is that we incorporate so many personal touches. Baby Cal is photographed with a handful of stuffed animals from his nursery. I have to also mention that the family puppy, Pudge, also largely resembles a stuffed animal.
